You may request to be sent the professional French Founders newsletter. We pursue this purpose based on your consent. Legal basis under Art. 6 1) a) GDPR. This consent is optional and freely given. At any time, you may withdraw your consent by clicking on the link in the footer of the newsletter emails received or following the procedure described in the section “Consent management”. 4. Manage Site Security and Prevent Computer Fraud
The data controller is required to ensure the security of its website and to prevent computer fraud in fulfillment of legal obligations or for judicial purposes. Therefore, the processing of personal data is necessary to ensure an adequate level of protection of information referring to the website users. The Processing is carried out directly by the Data Controller’s organization, through appropriately designated and instructed persons, who will act as authorized people as well as by external companies that perform services on behalf of the Company (such as, hosting management), acting as Data Processors pursuant to article 28 of the GDPR (e.g. companies that provide IT services) only for the purposes defined in this privacy policy. The Data Processors respect the law and are not authorized to use your personal data for any other purpose. They use compliant technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data in accordance with the law. French Founders is committed to ensuring that only authorized persons have access to your personal data and that they ensure its confidentiality, integrity and availability. The data is not transferred to third parties for commercial purposes and is not communicated to indeterminate parties.
Social network
Our site contains social buttons so-called widgets depicting the icons of social networks (e.g., LinkedIn and Instagram), which allow users to reach and interact directly on the Company's corporate pages on social networks with one click. To access the social network, the user must use personal login information. Except this limited case, the Controller does not share site user data with social networks.
When the user is on the social network, the latter acts as data controller and defines the management and processing of users' personal data in total autonomy. Information on the social network's processing of personal data is available on the social network's website.

Data processing is carried out with computer, IT procedures or other automated means strictly related to the purposes pursued for data protection in order to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. We limit access to your personal data to people according to the need to know principle. Persons authorized to access your personal data are subject to an obligation of confidentiality towards the Company.
The Data Controller has adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure an adequate level of security, in compliance with the data privacy law. The security measures include encryption of communications.

Data retention refers to the specific categories of data, in accordance with the principles of proportionality and necessity. Data retention have been defined for each purpose:

- The data necessary to pursue the purpose mentioned in paragraph Section 3.2 (internet services) will be kept for the time necessary to answer the request and to manage the job application.

International Transfer
French Founders hosts personal data in the United States.
